About the author
Karen Skarda is a Christian woman from the midwestern United States living internationally for the first time in Germany. She is a wife of over 28 years, mother of three young adults, and caretaker of a senior dog and two crazy cats.
She experienced challenges of balancing life as a working mother with young children, both in industry and at her church. Now that their children have all flown the nest and are launched, she is off on this new adventure in the second half of her life, exploring all the wonders around her, from the ordinary to the extraordinary. This is a new game, this second half of life.
